What is ExhibIQ?
ExhibIQ is an AI docent for museums and other cultural venues. A visitor scans a code next to an exhibit and asks questions in their own words; the AI answers using only the documents a curator uploaded for that specific piece.
Do museum visitors need to download an app?
No. Visitors scan a QR code with their phone's camera and the exhibit guide opens directly in their browser -- no app store, no download. It can optionally be installed to the home screen like an app if a visitor wants to.
What languages does the AI guide support?
Up to 28 languages, configurable per museum. A curator chooses which languages to offer and which one is the default; visitors can switch languages from the chat page itself.
Will the AI guide make up facts about our exhibits?
No. Every answer is grounded only in the documents a curator uploaded for that exhibit. If nothing relevant was uploaded, the guide says so instead of inventing an answer.
Is our uploaded content used to train AI models?
No. ExhibIQ uses OpenAI's API to generate answers, and per OpenAI's API data usage policy, content submitted through the API is not used to train their models by default.
Does it work if a visitor doesn't have a signal?
On plans that include offline mode, yes -- a visitor can download an exhibit's answers ahead of time and keep using them with no signal at all. See the plan comparison above for which tiers include it.
